Exciting News from Barnfather Wire Midlands: A £2 Million Investment Project Unveiled!

We are thrilled to announce that Barnfather Wire Midlands has embarked on a groundbreaking £2 million investment project in collaboration with Koch, a renowned machine manufacturing company and sister company of the MFL GROUP, the leading global provider of industrial machinery for wire.

The latest addition to our plant is a state-of-the-art high-speed precision wound drawing machine, capable of producing an impressive 60 tonnes per day. This acquisition marks a significant milestone in our journey towards becoming the leading producer of the fastest and highest quality wire in Europe.

Our owner, Richard Barnfather, recently had the pleasure of meeting Lucia Frigerio, Executive Vice President of MFL Group, at the International Wire Exhibition in Dusseldorf to solidify this exciting partnership. As part of this substantial investment, we are also expanding our capacity for black annealed wire and installing cutting-edge furnaces to enhance efficiency.

This strategic move firmly establishes us as the largest producer of bright industrial wire and black annealed wire in the UK, with a strong emphasis on reducing the importation of European-manufactured wire.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to revolutionise the wire industry with our commitment to innovation and excellence!
